Honestly watching someone else dig is prob the most boring thing, but the process itself is really what its all about. Pug made some really good points too..."the thrill of the hunt" is a great aspect of it. And dont listen to the heads trying to front like you gotta spend butt loads of money... -

Word, I agree...Lion has a good point too tho - the monitors and the soundcard sorta go hand-in-hand really cuz both are just as critical to your setup. More so if your trying to work on music in the box, but even if your outboard - you gotta get your music into the computer somehow eventually... -

True - More details as to what your aspirations are for future musical endeavors would be helpful in order to provide the best advice..... But I quadruple that - cop some monitors. Your gonna need some good ones regardless of what kind of way you work, ie. outboard or in the box. -

Well it sounds like the FTP program Stress is using is working fine so suggesting other programs for him to use is moot at this point. It sounds like your problem lies with your host more then anything else man.- Shonsteez

Who are u hosting with? Some free servers will put locks on certain things like allowing others to download files, etc. ------------ So are u uploading this to www.stresswon.com by the way?
