triton question, PLEASE!!
Yeah see the combi spans multiple midi channels...maybe 1-8....you will have free midi channels to add to it too if you want things like bass or whatever or you can edit the sounds in the combi....you will see the channels that are taken up by the combi, the channels that arent used usually have...- bigdmakintrax

ok here is the way to use your protools man..Mbox..hmmm I guess its ok...you need to think like this with gear... I need to have a setup to make my beats efficiently and also a way to print the beat (or track it) easily, without one being dependent on the other until you track the beat you...- bigdmakintrax

about the MPC1000 the false rumors
I use the machine exactly like that, I am tempted to get a 4000 but.....I think for what I do it can be done here, but I use soundforge with it, and it works exactly like I want like you said Classic, but its more a marketing thing, because on the real this piece can be expanded to be modified...- bigdmakintrax

about the MPC1000 the false rumors
I owned the original 2000 & 3000, I use a 1000 now.....I find this machine much easier to work with and load samples, than messing around with diskettes and zip disks....I give the machine a 9.5.....needs time stretch and a little better tweaks with the OS and its unstoppable...- bigdmakintrax
