Question for trap producers... how to get 808s consistent across various sound systems?

I'm cutting it for a bit, maybe one here or there, but I've been building my stash of drums and plugins for the last 6 months or so since getting back into it. Realistically there's nothing else I need. Time to just master what I have is the mindset I'm trying to tell myself to stop from...

Question for trap producers... how to get 808s consistent across various sound systems?

I need to check out R Bass. Have heard about this multiple times now.

    AIR Bassline Free (Limited Time)

And already deleted because after 3 tries of logging in it's still saying trial and keeps giving me errors when trying to activate. And this is why many of these plugin managers shoot themselves in the foot by making things way too complicated. Not your fault though @OGBama thank you for...

    AIR Bassline Free (Limited Time)

"classic mono synths with a contemporary twist" sounds right up my ally. I'm still struggling to find a go-to synth bass, maybe this will be it. Thanks for sharing.

    Spooky or dookie?

I like the beat and how it kinda sounds "off" but like 2Good said, in a good way. But I also agree with Kane that the vocals could use another take, to make sure they align to the beat and also to bring them front and center more with a little more energy. Oh, and most important, keep posting!

    In A Mood

Whatever mood you were in, it obviously works if you're making music. This is dope man. I'm not the biggest fan of the synth/organ that comes in during the verses, and I think snare is hair too punchy for the beat (the combo of the organ/snare gave me a 90s vibe) but that's really just personal...

    No snare, no melody.

Well, fine. There are a couple snares in there. And a little bit of piano. But anyways, give it a listen and you'll see what I mean. Had fun making this "drums only" type beat. Not sure the vibe on this. Timbo/Swizzy/Neptunes crossed with RZA? You tell me. Let me know what you think. Could...

    Best headphones for mixing?

I got HoRNet VHS on sale for $1 recently. It's not perfect but it has helped to identify some mix issues and has reduced the rounds of tweaks I need to make after listening on other set ups. I'll see how it compares to dearVR on my next beat.

    I did the unthinkable...

So I cheated a bit and title is a little misleading because it gets clicks, but the main sample is actually from a Frank Sinatra AI cover of Thriller, based on the Postmodern Jukebox jazz cover of thriller. But the OG thriller was sampled for the bridge. And thanks for the listen. Sounds like...

    Memphis (Horrorcore?) Beat

I believe in two things when it comes to beatmaking: -there are no rules -perfection is the enemy of progress I think what you should do is take what you learned making this one, launch your DAW, go to your favorite drum kit, load whatever sound or plugin you want to work with, and make another...

new beat & some bars... Hot/Not?

I think it's a fun and catchy, has a good vibe. Few things that come to mind while listening: -chorus felt a little long to me, maybe because it's repetitive. It's good, but I wonder if it would benefit by being cut down and/or shorten the main hook and implement a longer bridge. -the...

    Remember The Rain

Sounds great. I'm listening on my phone so won't be able to comment on mix, but everything sounds clean and well structured. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe some swing in the drums. Solid work.
