    which fl version you prefer?

    i use fl 6 just because the amount of convenience it gives you. you can drag and drop wavs onto tracks, the have new effects like the mutliband compressor, and it looks better (to me).

    usually the part of the beat which makes it so catchy. like for 'yeah' by usher that synth is a lead. or 'get low' that octave synth thing is a lead. some'at like'at.

    depends on the track style. raw hip-hop dirty underground drums would fit on an rNb track.

    if the drums sound good to my ears, they're good drums. and they have to be original. not much of that happens.

    click the channel where you put in the sample, then mov to 'crf' knob to how much of the sample you wanna loop, then click on 'use loop points' and it should start and stop when you want it to agh veon got it first. wow i can't pay attention.

    click on the channel where you loaded the sample, right click the sample, click detect tempo, and then click the general area of the tempo.

    umm i just play the bass with the chords. i don't really eq it that much, just emphasize low end, compress it enough to not distort. the bassline should be the center of the beat, shouldn't it? the style depends on type of beat. believe it or not, i use the hip_bass from the hip hop default pack...
