Cubase is my DAW of choice these days. Was using FL Studio for a while but when it comes to recording at the studio I don't like the way it does things, so I decided to go all in with Cubase as I already know it so well. That said, I just found out today that you can rip stems from within the daw since Cubase 12, even 11 with an old ripping algorithm. Just have to have Spectralayers installed too. Spectralayers isn't the best stem ripper though.I did something similar. The stretching and sample stretching in Acid Pro was really good but I preferred Cubase for MIDI sequencing and FX
