im going to bow out of this one, the sample for me personally is definitely too much of a challenge that I don't have the temperament for at this time, but I would like to actually vote for a beat this week...im sure we will hear some creative flips...hopefully

@Fade yeah but I hate doing that. I feel like everybody uses the first 30sec of a song. I like diggin for them untouched chops in the middle or back end of a track lol.

Oh for sure, but I just thought if it's too difficult. Sometimes if I really can't get anything I'll try to at least find some sort of groove, filter it and use that as my bassline. Doesn't always work though!

I found my chop the first time I listened through and immediately heard what I wanted to do. Now actually attempting to accomplish what I heard was definitely challenging.

I just checked yours, I see what you mean. If anything it's the vocal snippet that's more recognizable. Surprisingly, a lot of the beats used the vocals.
