Still working on the blend tape, here's another underground cut I got to ruin.
For some reason, Fruity Limiter couldn't bring the ceiling back to something high enough, so the limiting sounds pretty bad and I just couldn't get it to work like it usually would - the graph would show the ceiling going up, but the sound didn't change (I was even looking at the master channel in the mixer and it wasn't going past -3 dB). When I lowered the ceiling, it followed my instructions, but I obviously don't want that.

I've also updated the previous two blends according to feedback I got and uploaded them to my SoundCloud and other accounts linked on my SC profile.

@Drago Zetić Great job with the Boston joint it was on point. Nothing bad to say about it sounds good as is to me. Listening on my headphones but they're good quality so it should be pretty accurate.
@O'neil Nice melody and drums!! These are the kind of beats that I like because it's mellow and not overcrowded.
@Klypse both beats are good imo. But I have to go with the Jazzy Flip with those drums!! Bangin!!
@Edgar Not bad but just feels as though it's lacking something to make it complete but other than that it's all good.

Jazzy Flip: You found a beautiful sample, although I'd advise you to ease down on the drum reverb a bit, especially the kick. The vocal bits are great as well. The only wrong thing here is the bassline - pitch it up a semitone or a bit less (about 80 cents?). The good thing about the bass is that you didn't make it a slow wobbly one like you sometimes would.
Who Dat: This is actually the only J. Cole song I'm familiar with - I like it, but never bothered to check the rest of the man's discography. Your instrumental has a good sample, maybe a bit too low-passed. However, the a cappella doesn't match the beat (the vocals don't start where they should, either). This is what the decimal BPM numbers are for. The snare sounds a bit too light, maybe add a bit of reverb to it.

I love samples, but not when they're flooded with vocals like that. I understand that the average Joe cannot get access to the instrumental of whatever oldie you've sampled, but my opinion still stands. I found the 80s sounding fake drums over the 60s sounding soul interesting - nice idea.
Because of the way the samples sound, it's a bit hard to tell the hook and verse apart - maybe put a low-pass filter during the verses. It's a shame the samples are like that because I don't think you would be able to make that guitar in the background louder with EQ and not make the vocals louder as well.

@Matt-D The sample is dope as hell man ! the only thing i would do is turn down the overall volume (idk if its the master) or maybe revisit the mix. Its almost distorting just a tad. Other than the mix this is great man !
@Marc Duncan This is nice ! That bassline is what makes the beat to me along side those chords ! I can see Cole jumping on this.

Oh and thanks for the feedback haven't really gone too deep into the engineering side of things I just make it sound as good as I can with what I got. But what beat was too loud was it both or just one?

Great job Vinsane. I like the chord progression it sounds top notch. The sound selection is on point and the mix is pretty solid. Only I would change is the snare and replased with a softer one. Keep up with the good work!

Guitar is nice on this man. Not big fan of clap drums dope how u chopped them up tho when the piano came in. Nice addition with the hi hats too.
