@Marc Duncan Definitely something special. Dope work on the 808. I really like the atmosphere. Instrument selection and arrangement is great. Mix sounds great to me. I guess you tried to fill the 1st verse up with the scream FX, but it gets too repetitiv. Maybe put the scream on every 4 bar and put another fx instead. just an idea. besides that it a dope track, I realy like it a lot!!

@Benjamin Step Dums are dope and clear af. Great mixing! Something sounds strange at 1:44. To me the bell is off tone at some moments but I may be wrong.
Besides that its great track!!

Would be great to get some FB on one or both beats.

@Marc Duncan
Brooklyn Cowboy -Marc Duncan
introspective piece
wants to draw out the hard memories. good writing track.
seems like it wants to end opening for a speaker blowing banger that follows
one thing tho the melody doesnt hint at much resolution It ends as somber as it start
, sometimes it be that way tho but this is def a funeral march not a fan of the synth btw.
overall I liked it, if it was mine I would still work at it but this would def be a good framework

Out the door

@Klypse
Genesis Flip - Klypse
good bounce
gotta dive in with the I woulda's take it light
I woulda filtered the chops if you wanted to drop the drums in like that
I woulda saved the intro for the bridge , I liked the in sequence vocal sample
and I like the hook feel like this type of beat needs the verse to come back to sell the vibe.
good track If it was mine I would simple it up a lil more and filter some of that bright out of the main sample.
peace

@KDVS
SKydraper -KDVS
funky, play my joints you'll know how I feel about this one.
ill ending, very nofuxtogive
based on your submissionI am looking forward to your reviews of some of my work.

@Solo
d.a.f. -K Tev
not my thing, it's all good everything aint for everybody.
I can say this does not offend. if it came on while I was driving I would not intentionally change it. If it was mine I would reduce the amount of sweeps and throw on more bottom.
but it isn't mine, and I'm sure you have a clearer vision of your style than I do.
overall not bad, just not my thing.
peace

@FFC Beatzstop making beats in class bro, focus up on that education yo! haha
Level Up - Yung Kizo
experimenting with 8bit trap? do it! very interested
in this case the beat seems to be between genres and has no clear home so imo what this wants is to be a sample base for a gritty killer gangster track. I would finish this the way the movement wants to go then chop it down and eat it up with a real sinister drum break behind it. I can already hear the verb lingering on the chops...

@Johni Cleveland
rhythms with JC -Johnnie Cleveland
Good finger work, how many routines do you have now?
have you changed the way you layout your samples since you started drumming this way?
nice break
good work

@TeeJay Sounds

@Marc Duncan Sounds like something a major artist would definetely hop on. Nothing bad to say good beat!!
@Benjamin Step I Like this one a lot. It sounds good as is I personally just wish the drums had more knock, it doesn't really need it but I just want to hear it lol. Nice!!
@DamskiDam Both beats go hard especially with the mixes, but if I had to choose I would go with the second one. That one got me extra hyped.
@Nebjan I actually never heard of this artist but that remix was really good and sounds very clean and crisp. I like it a lot keep em coming.
@Kod4R I loved the violins you sampled I just didn't think the drums did it justice in my opinion.
Here is one I did just for fun.

@Marc Duncan I like the melody but the drums dont really fit it, or it might need some mixing but it has great potential
@Benjamin Step Nice track you have there. I like the drums and the bass. I was hoping it will change up but it didn't that much but its saucey...and welcome to the forum
@DamskiDam Love the trap sounds...good job
@odbarq "You a school" is a dope track. I like the constant drum roll on it.
@Matt-D Good sample track. I like the drums and the base but the vocals are repetitive. You shouldve let the bassline be the main thing with a vocal or 2 per bar. But its dope nevertheless

Here's something I cook up today. I did something different with the base this time. Let me know how you like it.

@Klypse This beat is very well put together and I'm really feeling that sample. I guess if I had to be picky I would say the shakers could be turned down a little but other than that I don't hear anything wrong. Dope!! And I Most definetely appreciate the feedback I actually agreed it was too repetitive so I made some changes and added more diversity to the verse and chopped up more parts of the song instead of looping it the whole time. I reposted it if you could check it out and let me know if it sounds a little better, you may not notice to much of a change but I think the changes helped. I also have to quit rushing these beats lol!!

Thanks for the feedback, looking to see how my mixing is doing on a new tack I'm putting together.

@Klypse Loved the bass throughout this thing, was actually dancing around school to it, very nice mix. such nice sample choice! Almost wanna make a track out of it if it's not in use

Hey guys. Thanks for letting me be part of this dope comunity! I started making beats about a year ago, in Ableton and my main thing is old school hip hop. I would gladly accept some feedback on my beats, if you are willing to listen. Peace!

Here is a beat i made a few days ago.

Much love for the old school hip hop headz!
