I Sampled the melody and the drums from the song and added my own sounds on top of it. This is very cool to see different flips on the same sample, I love seeing how different beatmakers can create fire outta the same subject.

@d.fusion such a banger of a beat. When someone can make something simple, but banging that's gold! Great job.
@huggyHG I'm digging all the changeups though sometimes they don't go together, nice work.
@joeburnem great groove and drum samples though there's no real melody to compliment that.
@KCSwagger tight drum rhythm and the choice of the sample was eerie and unique. Also cool samples thrown in here and there. They add some character to the track. Nice job.
@Samply Charish really nice drum rhythms on this track though the melodies seem off here and there and too dissonant.
@ybeatz - nice job on the laid back vibe of this.

@hardboiled i hear what you mean about dissonance but melodies off? i'm sorry bout i listened to my beat over and over and still don't hear that, aslo had homies listen to it and still nothing. I'm very big on timing

It's actually pretty funny @d.fusion expected me to win and I expected him to win. Though, I honestly didn't expect to even be a runner-up. Felt my track was pretty bland compared to others.

thanks guys, i really wasn't expecting to win this one seeing as a lot of beats had the sample flipped very nicely and really made their own thing with it. I wasn't too pleased with the mix on the beat but luckily for me i guess this wasn't the judges main criteria
so who spottet me using the last horn sound of the sample as my leading portion along with the bass sample??
anyways this was my first time sampling off of youtube as i usually just sample vinyl, i guess that's why i didn't bothered too much with the overall mix, weird ol me i guess
