Mike Martinez

My name's Mike Martinez & I've been involved in Hip Hop culture since a child. From roller skating to Rob Base at the age of 5, to battling kids in the cafeteria at age 10, to tagging up the walls of my middle school, I've always been drawn to it.

I've been producing Hip Hop music since 2002. I started out as a rapper in my homestate of Connecticut, and later started producing my own instrumentals around 2010.

I produced solely on FL Studio for 12 years before switching to hardware. I now produce mainly on the MPC One, but also use the SP-404 MK2, PO33, MPK Mini, as well as live instruments, though sampling is my specialty.

Where I live in Central Florida now it is hard to find true Hip Hop heads, so I've joined this board to connect with others of the same passions. To build, bounce ideas, network and the like.
