    I think both tracks work well. To me personally the clap on the slower track feels a bit overwhelming. I would have gone for a rimshot instead but that is just weird old me.

    I was listening on headphones so not sure if it is helpful but I didn't feel the sound was too wide. Like the lo fi drums and the bass together with the sample.
