Well I wish I could say it's better but... It's not.

Don't mean to be rude but maybe move on to another beat and just try something very basic like drums and one melody(one instrument) and try to master this then add something up next.

I like the sounds ur using its just the sequencing seems like it's all over the place. If u were to clean this up and make it sound cohesive, it'll be a slapper. Keep working.

Not sure if I missed the mark, but Im tryn to get the first set of vocals to sound emotional w/o bein too slow for the pace of beat. Idk if this sounds any closer to that, but would appreciate some opinions on it.

sounding good the vocal is a little muddy I would get it a little higher end with a sweep and I would drop the drums hard not bring them in slowly with more volume.

yes, it is I think dropping the bass like the drums is a good idea. sounds like you bring it in with volume just drop it. I heard a guitar very low I think that sound should be louder as well. good stuff man. check my showcase the last beat has a vocal in it
