    Scott Storch

I still like the Neptunes better. They at least have their own style. When you hear a Neptune or Timberland beat, you know who produced it. When I hear a Storch beat, I can't even narrow it down to who it might be. He puts out some bangin shit tho.

    Newfound respect

yes, but I think it comes from experiance. Knowing what sounds good and adding to it until you get a badass song. The only problem is, he's not very versitile. Thats same badass song gets old after 20 singles. It's like all his songs are remixes of his other songs.

so what's a good college 2 go 2 that teaches music production

I think of it like this: Producing probably won't be able to support me month after month, year after year, as a career. Working in a studio will. So I work in a studio, and every once in awhile I get an artist that I like, but has weak beats. I slip a few beats to him for a few hundred, and...

    Hostel and Wolf creek

When people don't wait until the end of the movie, you never really know how bad it is do you? I mean, the movie probably did suck, but how do they know the ending isn't badass? (I'm guessing it wasn't). And again, if you hate it from the beginning, you might be bias on the ending...? I...

Who's your Fav. prod. and why?

I have many non-famous producers that I respect, a couple on this site. But as far as famous, I don't think it gets much better than the Neptunes. They can do rap, rock, jazz, techno, all styles. I printed off their wrap sheet of artists they have produced for and the songs' name...the shit was...

so what's a good college 2 go 2 that teaches music production

I don't remember why they said that, or how to land a job. It was last summer, and it's pretty much what hypnotist said about getting a job. I remember one guy said EVERYONE starts on the bottom. You gotta put in your years because everyone else did. The conservatory is something around...

so what's a good college 2 go 2 that teaches music production

I remember last summer i was heart set on going to full sail. Now, I'm not dogging on it, but from what I have found in months of research are some downsides in going: -It's like $60,000-$65,000 (don't remember exactly) for a year. Remember, that's plus about $1000 a month for an apartment...

    Anybody use Cubase??

I just loaded it yesterday. I have experiance with acid, but I just kind of messed around with it. I've spent the last 2 days reading the Adobe files on how to use Cubase. So far, it seems badass. I can't wait until Friday when I get the MIDI keyboard hooked up. -Sam
