Is Native Instruments coming out with a new Maschine Controller?

    they've got maschine on sale for $399, maschine mikro for $249. anybody know what's up?

    Ya I saw that, everyone is wondering the same thing. That would suck because I just got mine about a year ago but at the same time it would be awesome to see what they come up with.

    They might but I don't see a NEED for a new controller. Keeping the same controller and just releasing software updates is better since there's nothing really wrong with the controller. Actually, the only thing I don't like about the controller is the screens. I wish they would tilt up a bit, that's my only complaint.

    Yeah...but they do need to make improvements on the controller....the knobs short out, the LCDs go bad, easily.....

    The pads are decent, but can be upgraded to more of an mpc type...

    The usb port in the back can definitely use an upgrade.

    I heard it was just to get rid of the boxes with 1.7 disc in them ,but who knows.....

    They may make a controller the size of the renaissance to compete just a thought.

    My friend works in music store here in Spain, they're official NI distributors. And he says NI people been there and they told them that new controller should be in December and that the old one will fully compatible with new version of software.
